Europe and Its Downfall: How the West Self-Destructively Renounced Russian Energy and Turned Against the World

In recent days, we have witnessed a historic turning point in global geopolitics and energy diplomacy. In China, representatives of three great powers—Russia, China, and India—came together to sign strategic agreements that will shape the world economy for decades. Meanwhile, Europe, immersed in the illusion that it remains the center of the world, continues its self-destructive policy of sanctions, bans, and tariffs, leading it toward an obvious economic collapse.

Historic Agreement: Power of Siberia 2

The most significant news is the signing of the legal foundation for the construction of the Power of Siberia 2 gas pipeline, which will transport Russian gas to China via Mongolia. This is a massive strategic project that Russia and China have been working on for years. According to Gazprom’s director, Alexey Miller, the pipeline will open after 2030 and operate for 30 years.

Key Point of Power of Siberia 2: Bravo Europe, Bravo EU! This initiative is a great success—or rather, failure—for the European economy and well-being. The volume of gas that China will import will completely replace the amount Russia once supplied to Europe.

European Illusion and the Harsh Reality of a Painful Blow!

Europe, through its guided and planned sanctions against Russia and the disruption of cheap Russian gas and oil supplies, has voluntarily cut itself off from a vital energy source.

The result is obvious:

  • European industry faces explosive energy costs. Meanwhile, China will receive cheap, reliable Russian gas, while Europe struggles with expensive American liquefied natural gas (LNG).

  • Germany, once the engine of the European economy, has become the main loser in this historic shift. Its heavy industry, reliant on reliable and affordable energy, can no longer compete.

  • Deindustrialization is inevitable. Without competitive energy, Europe cannot compete with China, let alone the combined strength of the Russo-Chinese economic partnership.

Trump’s Tariffs and the Global Response

But it’s not just about Europe. The U.S., under Trump’s threats of tariffs against almost everyone (China, India, and Europe), is encouraging global consolidation against the West.

  • India, which recently "angered" Trump by cooperating with Russia and China, has nonetheless remained steadfast in its loyalty to the Global South. It buys oil and weapons from Russia, not the U.S.

  • Modi’s decision to join Putin and Xi is a sign that the world does not revolve around Washington and Brussels.

Geopolitical Chess: Mongolia and the New Reality

Mongolia, as a transit country for the new pipeline, will profit richly, much like Ukraine once did. Interestingly, questions immediately arose about whether the U.S. would attempt to trigger a "color revolution" in Mongolia. However, geography suggests otherwise: with Russia to the north and China to the south, such a possibility is extremely slim.

Fico on Europe: A Frog at the Bottom of a Well

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, during his meeting with Putin, vividly described Europe’s situation: "Sometimes I feel that in the EU, we are like frogs at the bottom of a well. We cannot see what is above us, but the world is completely different."

The European Union, due to internal divisions and short-sighted policies, is incapable of responding to global political and economic shifts. Instead of addressing its own problems (such as France’s impending potential financial collapse), European leaders play Napoleon and ponder military guarantees for Ukraine, which is already strategically lost.

Internal European Erosion: The Paradox of European Unity

While European leaders focus on external challenges, Europe is being eroded by internal political instability:

  • France: Macron’s government faces a potential financial collapse and a loss of confidence as the country prepares for new elections.

  • Germany: The mysterious deaths of six members of the opposition party AfD in North Rhine-Westphalia raise suspicions of systematic political elimination. Official explanations of "natural death" and "suicide" are too similar to be believable.

  • Austria: Unlike Ukraine, Austria has clearly stated that it does not intend to abandon its neutrality and join NATO—proof that European sovereignty is still possible.

The Historic Mistake of the Collective West

The events in China mark a historic turning point. Russia, China, and India—united with other Global South countries—are shaping a new, multipolar world.

Europe, with its illusion of self-importance, senseless arming of Ukraine, and economically suicidal sanctions, has dug its own grave. When the harsh reality hits—lack of competitive energy, deindustrialization, and economic stagnation—it will be far too late to change anything. Its fate is sealed.

Europe and the U.S. have become victims of their own arrogance—and now they stand on the sidelines while the world moves forward without them.
